In her research and design work, Saloni believes that products aren't discarded because they have no value; rather, they're replaced because they fail to keep up with people and their needs. This realization has led her to focus on developing products and experiences that evolve with the user while remaining empathetic to how they can improve lives.As an industrial designer, Saloni is passionate about bringing together design, engineering, and business to tackle some of the most pressing challenges around us. She has worked in a variety of fields, including social innovation, healthcare, sustainable product development, and consumer products.
Prior to Loft, Saloni got her master’s degree at MIT where she saw how the design process can be a key component to bring state-of-the-art solutions can to life. Her work at MIT ranged from conducting user research in zero gravity to make space more inclusive at the Media Lab, developing accessible pregnancy tests for people with vision impairments, and measuring the body's hydration levels at the Gray lab, IMES.

TJ loves to learn about the smallest behaviors that make up our interactions with products in our day-to-day experiences. He strives to have his designs act as an extension of ourselves to seamlessly improve our lives.
Prior to joining Loft, TJ has spent 5 years at Noco creating innovative charging solutions for various markets. As a consultant he has helped bring products and brands to life in the pet, recreational outdoor gear, industrial automotive accessory markets, and much more.
In his free time TJ is drawing, rock climbing, and exploring Rhode Island—one brewery at a time.

Growing up, Maggie dreamt of becoming either an industrial designer or a weather person. Lucky for us, she chose design. A visual artist and industrial designer by trade, she is devoted to creative problem solving. She enjoys working with the team to find little problems hidden underneath bigger ones.
Before joining Loft, Maggie worked on Under Armour’s Innovation Team where she collaborated closely with athletes and makers to observe, research and experiment, rethinking the approach to designing apparel.
Maggie’s next level experience … using research insights and technology explorations to redefine apparel and accessories systems.
Jon thrives on designing products people love. He pays close attention to the smallest details and has a passion for sustainable products and innovative ways to help mitigate climate change.
Prior to Loft Design, Jon spent 5 years in the US and Europe designing at P&G for the Braun and Gillette brands. He was instrumental in developing products aiming to disrupt the shave care industry, leveraged large scaled 3D printing manufacturing, and designed Gillette’s first sustainable, recycled plastic razor.
At Loft Design, Jon is the bedrock of the design studio cultivating collaboration and inspiring confidence … and sometimes brings in muffins … which also inspire. We don’t question his methods.

Austrian-born Gregor is in his element while dissecting most complex business & technology challenges and creating their next level business outcomes. Prior to starting Loft, Gregor led a Strategy & Design team at Accenture Interactive, where he helped launch new multi-billion dollar businesses for global fortune 500 companies. He also led creative teams at Rollerblade, InMusic & Cross.He has worked in the US, Europe & Asia over the past 30 years has earned numerous design awards as well as holds well over 100 patents for product innovations around the globe.
Outside of business hours he teaches Service Design & UX at RISD, and hosts a weekly think tank with global business & political leaders around the world.
A natural motivator, leader, collaborator, and innovator, the only thing that takes Gregor’s eyes off of design for long is his love for winter sports, kitesurfing and DJing in local clubs. Many have tried to keep up with Gregor, few have succeeded.
Next level inspiration … Japanese wood craft and joinery, minimalist forms that are functional and proportioned.
Clotilde’s favorite creative pursuits are building a solid project plan and coordinating the team to deliver beyond a client’s expectations. Specializing in Mechanical Engineering, Data Science and UX strategy, she approaches product design with a focus on technology, user centricity and business opportunities. From data analytics to Agile mobile development, she offers a wide area of expertise as an architect of digital transformation.
Before Loft, Clotilde spent 12 years working for Philips in the Netherlands. Prior to that she was at Accenture Interactive and Agusta Aerospace Corporation.
If she is not traveling the world, you might find her in her garden outside of Raleigh, NC, or baking with her two children.
Clotilde’s next level skill ... making sense of complex technical workflows and using Design Thinking to simplify them.
Chad is a technical juggernaut with experience in mechanical design, electrical design & embedded software. He loves building prototypes that bring all these elements together.
Prior to joining Loft, Chad worked as a R&D Mechanical Engineer for 16 years at Johnson Control. There he led the design and deployment of among others IoT Connected Fire Platform — a first of its kind solution in the fire protection domain.
If Chad does not fire up his commercial grade laser cutter in his garage, he enjoys working on home improvement projects, and crafting, hiking, and exploring with his three young children.
Chad’s next level skill … envisioning how the many facets of a complex system need to work together, then making it happen.
